Okay, I finally got around to listing the iPhone apps I use a lot on iusethis.com. A few aren't on the site and I didn't have time to add them as new apps.
Check out my list here: http://iphone.iusethis.com/user/shrop
Feel free to comment on apps that you like too.
I was a bit skeptical when Lisa wanted to start a new small group. It is a major time commitment, but very rewarding. We have both felt a strong need to connect and Bible study with others who share our interest to learn.
I a m no fan of Blackberry mobile devices, but many of my friends and colleagues use them. Good news is that LifeChurch.tv has release a version of their Bible app for the Blackberry. Check out the details here: Introducing the Blackberry Bible App!

Came across this purchase plan from 1985 (see link below). Notice the pricing and size of the hard drive upgrade. At least tech gets cheaper and generally improves over time.
Just received this ticket in our IT support ticket email box today. It has to be a joke. I can't believe it.. read on and enjoy... Name changed (slightly) to protect the innocent.
"Message: Veronica would like to replace her keyboard (Dell) with one that doesn't make as much noise, that is if you have one available. The new one that she has (replaced recently) types with loud clicks when typing."
As Nick Burns says, "MOVE!!!"
The Beastie Boys made a quick appearance for Rock The Vote on Monday, October 27th. Check out the blog article and video by Justin Ruckman at CLTBlog below:

I hate I missed it, but sounds like it wasn't much. They didn't perform. Just an appearance.
Well we have a new pet. An inside cat at that (sounds like Dr. Seuss). We named him Murphy. Anyway, I love this cat already. He is really friendly (for a cat) and is easy going. Doesn't run and hide either. He fits our family's personality quite well. Murphy even puts up with our daughter who probably annoys him much of the time. She just gets all over him and cats don't usually dig that.
Oh well, hope everyone out there has a great week. See ya!

Make sure the click through the photos. You will see students, faculty and staff participating in early voting at UNC Charlotte in the Cone University Center. One of the pics is of my friend, Marcus Hesse.
